Offer stress management programmes

Venezuela's crisis has had a massive impact on the mental health of its citizens; doctors and nurses have been affected as badly as anybody. By the end of 2018, through an international NGO, The Art of Living, we have delivered stress management programmes in hospitals and schools, training more than 1000 people, including children.

Adopt 100 post-graduate medical students

Due to the alarming dropout rate of postgraduate medical students, we are working with two NGOs, Ven da tu Mano and Médicos Unidos por Venezuela in Spain, to fund transport and basic expenses for 100 medical students from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and Universidad de los Andes. Students are chosen by the directors of the medical school, on the basis of specific criteria such as living away from home and having families.
