The situation in Venezuela is so precarious that approximately 50% of its doctors have left the country due to the crisis or have left their studies for lack of economic resources. This has a tremendous impact in Venezuelan healthcare.
This is the reason why Healing Venezuela offers monthly $15 to 120 postgraduate medical students in different regions of the country.
Since we started the program, less than 3% of our group of doctors have left their studies. The medical residents are key to keep the vital work done at the public hospitals where the most needed are attended
