Recently, the ultrasound equipment that we received as a donation in the UK thanks to our friend Roddy Rodríguez arrived in Altagracia de Orituco, Guárico State.
This magnificent achievement would never have been possible without the unconditional support of our volunteer Rubelly and the contribution of the Gracithan community in Europe who covered part of the cost of shipping. Healing Venezuela also provided the software update and 40 kilos of supplies that were sent at the same time.
This equipment will be used by the gynaecology department of the San José medical service. Whenever possible, the beneficiaries will pay a reasonable price for the service which will be used for the maintenance of the equipment, the purchase of medical supplies and the organization of medical days in the region.
As we never tire of saying, together we are better.
