Since the beginning of the pandemic, Healing Venezuela has sent 585 face shields, more than 3.000 masks, 1790 pairs of gloves and 100 gallons of disinfectant to hospitals and other health centres in several parts of the country to protect the medical staff and the general population.
Some of the hospitals designated as “sentinel centres” against COVID19 are among the recipients, where the lack of PPE material is deeply worrisome. Protecting the medical residents has also been one of our priorities considering the important role they play in the fight against the virus.
